Cafe' Conversations

Cafe' Conversations-- We held two Cafe' Conversations the week of May 14--The first one was severely impacted by the tornadoes and windstorm of May 15, and will be rescheduled soon.

On Saturday morning, May 19, church members gathered for delicious breakfast treats and meaningful conversation as we discussed what God is calling us to do and be in our time. [ more ]

Wanted--Cookies, Cookies, Cookies!

July 8, 2018--Our church community will be offering cookies to the Wallingford Workcamp volunteers--600 strong--following their first day of work on Monday, July 9. We need 100 dozen cookies--yes, 100 dozen! We are asking you to provide some cookies for this effort--any kind are welcome, and they may be baked from scratch, baked using pre-made dough, or purchased from a bakery or bakery department of your local grocery store. Cookies may be dropped off in the church kitchen on Sunday, July 8, or ahead of time in the church office to be frozen. We are asking that you indicate how many cookies that you will contribute so the Cookie Committee can plan. [ more ]

Books and Beyond 2018

Books and Beyond, our monthly book club group, will meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month through May.  Anyone interested in books and great conversation is welcome to join us! [ more ]

Wallingford Workcamp Team 2018

The Wallingford Workcamp Team 2018 project is well underway and gathering momentum, but still needs your help! Our church, in partnership with the non-profit Group Mission Trips, will be hosting a work camp here in town from July 8-14, 2018. [ more ]

Our New Heating System is Complete!

After countless hours of research and consideration, the Board of Trustees has approved a $386,075 contract with CT HVAC, Inc. to replace our heating system. After adding 20% for unexpected occurrences and cosmetic repairs once the job is completed, the total estimated cost for the project is $463,290.  The new heating system is finally installed, and we are enjoying the delights of silent, reliable heat in the Sanctuary!
