Wallingford Workcamp Team 2018

Our church, in partnership with the non-profit Group Mission Trips, hosted an amazing work camp here in town from July 8-14, 2018. [ more ]


Sherry Perkowski Retires; Pam and Heidi's Last Sunday

After many years of service as our Sexton, Sherry Perkowski is retiring at the end of June.  Her work among us was celebrated on June 24 at the 10:00 a.m. service.  It was also Pam Perkowski and Heidi Bonassar's last Sunday as Co-Superintendents of our Church School, and we again thanked them for their ministry to our children.more ]


Confirmation Sunday 2018

On June 3, 2018, joy and the Holy Spirit filled our sanctuary when eight young people in the Confirmation class joined our church as official members. [ more ]


A Special Pentecost; We honor Pam and Heidi

On Pentecost Sunday, Sunday, May 20, 2018, our community celebrated the work of the Holy Spirit and our church school staff as the regular church school year came to a close.  We particularly lifted up the ministry of Pam and Heidi, our co-Superintendents of our church school, who are moving on to other things after 11 years of amazing and creative service to our children.  [ more ]

Over three sessions of Cafe' Conversations,  church members gathered for delicious food and meaningful conversation as we discussed what God is calling us to do and be in our time. [ more ]


A Celebration of the Creative Spirit

October 13-14, 2018--A Festival of Arts and a Celebration of the Creative Spirit will be held at the First Congregational Church of Wallingford on Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14, 2018.  This is an invitation to all members and friends of our church family to share in a celebration of the creative spirit as we turn Congregational Hall into a wonderful display space for works of art in all mediums... 12th Annual Family Life Golf Tournament

September 22, 2018-- The 12th Annual Family Life Golf Tournament to support breast cancer awareness and research and the Family Life Center Fund will be held on Saturday, September 22 at Miner Hills Family Golf in Middletown, CT from 9:00 a.m. to noon. There will be prizes, luncheon, and lots of fun! The cost is $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for Juniors (17 and under). You can sign up to play, or you can sponsor a hole for $20.00. Sign-ups are available in the church office, at coffee hour, or you can contact Margaret Jay. [ more ]
