Our Church School is involved in lots of special projects and activities. You can join us or help out in several ways..
Masters Manna appreciates our donations around the winter holidays, but people are in need at this time of year as well. Canned soup, tuna, pasta, etc. are needed. Church School students can bring items and leave them by the baskets by the kitchen door.
Our traditional Palm Cross Making Breakfast was on Saturday, March 24 at 9:00 a.m. A wonderful French Toast Breakfast was shared, then everyone young and older helped make palm crosses for the worship service on Palm Sunday. Bell Tower tours were given to students in Grades 3 and above. There was also an Easter Egg Hunt for the Pre-K through Grade 2 students, sponsored by Family Life.
Students in Grades 6-8 have been very busy making kindness rocks to hide around Wallingford. They are very interested in spreading kindness and will be bringing cookies to the police and fire departments during one of their church school classes this spring. Permission slips will be handed out soon; please return them to the church school office or to their teachers.
We are seeking adults to work with our children in the following positions:
Summer Sunday School teachers--Do you have even one Sunday this summer to help? Please pick one of five Sundays during the summer program to share a Bible story, a snack, a game and a craft with the children. The Lesson Plan will be available and easy to follow.
Church School Teachers for the 2018-2019 Program Year--We are in need of teachers for the next church school year. If interested, please stop by the Church School Office or find Pam or Heidi during coffee hour to sign on for a class. Partner teachers work very well to share the dates and responsibilities--the curriculum is provided!
