Our Lenten series this year invites us to reflect on the stories of our faith, the stories of our lives, and stories from the life of the world around us.
Through the media of print, documentary and feature films, and personal story sharing – we will experience together stories that can touch the heart, mind and soul.
Stories can motivate and change people and people can change the world.
On February 27, we will participate with the Books and Beyond group in the discussion of the Oprah Book Selection, Behold the Dreamers! The book discussion for February will be integrated with our Lenten Supper Series. Come at 6:00 pm and enjoy a choice of Cameroonian soup (prepared by Rev. Jay) or a good old American chicken vegetable option, or come just for the book conversation at 7:00.
Other weeks, we will share in a different film (or portion) and discuss the themes and issues presented.
The Rev. Margaret Jay will be our guide on this Lenten journey.
Please join us for a wonderful soup, sandwich and dessert meal together and then stay for the film and discussion.
