The 2024 Church Fair was a great occasion--full of creative items to purchase, delicious food, and a wonderful sense of community.
This fun annual event was held on Friday evening, Dec. 6, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Friday's Fair was held during Wallingford's downtown Holiday Stroll, and lots of folks strolled in to warm up with hot dogs, hot cider and hot chocolate. A new feature was a spaghetti and meatball supper.
Fair booths included handmade crafts, fragrant balsam wreaths, baked goods, toys, books, jewelry, vintage and Christmas decorations, and a raffle.
There was a craft table for the children, which they seemed to really enjoy. Their faces were studies in concentration.
On Saturday, all booths were open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and breakfast and lunch was served. In addition, hundreds of freshly baked cookies appeared (and quickly disappeared) at our Cookie Walk.

The Church Fair is a wonderful way to begin the Christmas season at First Church!
