Easter Sunday is a celebration of Jesus' resurrection, a joyous celebration of the coming of the light into the world with hope and promise.
The sanctuary is full of spring flowers, and the cross is draped in white, symbolizing the shrouds left behind. The darkness of the week before has been transformed into light and joy.
Children stay with their families on Easter Sunday, and hear a special message from our minister.
The music is always special and celebratory on Easter, and it is our tradition that anyone in the congregation may join the choir for the singing of the Hallelujah Chorus.
