An Ecclesiastical Council for our Member in Discernment, Connor Filkins, was held in the sanctuary on Thursday, October 3, 2019. An Ecclesiastical Council is a meeting of the delegates of the New Haven Association of the United Church of Christ to examine members in discerment for fitness for ordained ministry. We are pleased to announce that Connor was approved for ordination, pending call, by the Ecclesiastical Council.
We are proud of Connor for this accomplishment on his journey to ordained ministry and are excited to see where God is calling him!
