Concert of Tower Bells

On a beautiful July Sunday afternoon, members of our church and the larger community gathered on the Parade Ground for a concert of our Tower Bells in celebration of our 350th Anniversary.

Michael Gancz of the Yale Guild of Carrillonneurs performed a spectacular concert of music spanning 350 years, from Pachelbel's Canon in D to John Denver's "Country Roads"--all with only 14 bells!  He also played a fantasy on "Happy Birthday." The audience was entranced.

Following the performance, everyone was invited to enjoy an ice cream sundae.

Thanks to members of the 350th Planning Committee and all who helped put together a very special afternoon of music, and to Michael Gancz for sharing his amazing talent.
