Chili Cook-off and Square Dance

As part of our 350th Anniversary celebration, we offered a fun family-friendly Chili Cook-off and Square Dance. The chilis were great, the dancing was fun, and the laughter was non-stop.

People brought chili, macaroni and cheese, corn bread and salad.  Everyone was asked to vote for their favorite chili, and a golden spoon was awarded the winner.  They were all delicious in their own special way!

Then the dancing began, with a professional caller teaching everyone the steps.  Laughter filled Congregational Hall as folks circled and do-si-doed.

There was a photo "booth" for fun country pictures.

On a dark November evening, the spirit of light and fellowship shone bright at First Church!
